Poble Espanol was built in 1929 for International Exhibition in desire to close spirit of Spain in one single space. The space is situated on the mountain of Montjiuc. Walking through Poble Espanol, you can admire buildings in their real size and streets of different regions of Spain and watch real artisans from Barcelona at work as well as pieces of contemporary art of famous figures like Dali, Picasso, Miro. In few minutes your two feet take you from Romanesque, Catalan architecture to visit Andalusian town. The building of the''poble'' was chosen during journey its creators took. They visited 1600 of countrysides along Iberian Peninsula and south of Portugal taking notes and collecting ideas to catch Spanish essence and provide the unique experience. New installation in the space makes the visit even more exciting. You can take part in audiovisual ''Feeling Spain''which takes for a visual journey through geography of Spain and most authentic Spanish traditions.
